互联网贷款、劳动生产率与企业转型——基于劳动力流动性的视角

摘要
互联网贷款能够有效缓解中低收入劳动者的融资约束,进而对企业劳动生产率产生负面冲击。本文基于2011—2018年中国地级市层面数据,探究了互联网贷款发展对域内企业劳动生产率及投资决策的影响。研究发现:与预期的金融科技提升企业效率不同,地区互联网贷款的普及降低了域内企业劳动生产率,且该效应主要集中于人力资本水平低的劳动密集型企业;城市层面上,该效应在居民融资约束强、消费预算约束强、劳动力供给紧张、人力资本水平低的三线及以下城市更加显著。互联网贷款缓解了摩擦性失业者的消费预算约束,提升了劳动者的风险承受能力,导致企业低技能员工流动性上升,劳动生产率下降。劳动力生产率的下降倒逼企业增加研发与投资,促使其由劳动密集型生产方式向资本、技术密集型转型。本文从劳动力流动性的视角探究了金融科技如何影响企业劳动生产率、促进产业转型升级,为理解数字经济和实体经济深度融合及其带来的潜在冲击提供了有益的思考与补充。
