教师书面修正性反馈对学生英语写作的影响

摘要
本文探讨教师对非英语专业学生作文的书面修正性反馈是否能提高学生语言的准确性和写作水平。实验持续16周,受试54人,根据前测成绩和反馈类型将学习者分为直接反馈、间接反馈和控制三组,每组18人。整个实验过程受试各写八篇议论文,并对每篇至少修改一次。研究显示在语言形式方面得到书面修正性反馈的学生其语言准确性有显著提高,接受直接反馈的比间接反馈的提高程度更显著。本研究还表明教师就学生作文整体内容方面给予具体反馈和笼统反馈都能有效提高作文质量。该结果反驳了Truscott(1996,1999,2007)提出的二语写作中教师语法纠错无效的观点。
