摘要：

简要介绍了传统皮肤美白剂的应用缺陷;重点综述了不同种类植物精油在皮肤美白领域的研究工作,包括体外酪氨酸酶抑制实验、黑色素细胞生长存活实验、黑色素生成实验及胞内酪氨酸酶活性测定实验;并从与熊果苷、曲酸的比较中分析了植物精油在皮肤美白领域中的应用潜力;最后提出了植物精油目前在皮肤美白领域研究中存在的问题、发展方向和应用前景等。
