脱节还是弥合?中国组织管理研究的严谨性、相关性与合法性——基于中文管理学期刊1979～2018年的经验证据

与现有的"弥合观"与"独立观"不同,本文将科学严谨性与实践相关性系统区分为涉及直接与间接的实践价值以及管理知识双向流动的19个维度,并基于改革开放40年以来中文管理学期刊的纵向历史文献数据,科学地考察组织管理研究中二者的弥合与鸿沟关系及其动态演化规律,以及从知识合法性的视角窥探兼顾二者可能存在的效果与调节效应。实证研究表明,科学严谨性与实践相关性始终既没有完全脱节,也没有完全弥合,而是处于动态的差序平衡状态中;而无论从理论建构还是研究方法来看,实践相关性的不同层面既可以对科学严谨性与知识合法性的正向关系产生促进作用(概念相关性的正向调节),又可以产生抑制作用(工具相关性的负向调节),同时也可以不产生显著作用(象征相关性或"从实践中来")。本文在创造性地提供崭新洞见时,既是对管理学在中国40年成长与演进的一个系统回顾与总结,也为相关议题提供重要的理论与方法借鉴。
