大学创新能力与国家经济增长——基于33个国家数据的实证分析

大学是国家创新体系的重要组成部分。认识大学创新能力与国家经济增长的关系对加快提升大学创新能力和促进经济增长都具有重要意义。本文通过对33个国家数据的实证分析,考察大学创新与经济增长之间的关系,以及在不同经济发展阶段大学创新能力建设的着重点。研究发现:大学研发经费投入、大学研发人员密度以及政府对高等教育的财政支持程度对国家经济增长均具有显著的正向影响;大学研发经费投入在早期效果更为显著,研发人员密度的作用则随着经济增长而稳步上升,政府财政支持程度的经济效应呈现出U型趋势。基于研究结果,本文探讨了未来我国大学创新能力的提升路径。
