晚期糖基化终末产物(advanced glycation end products,AGEs)是机体长寿蛋白质或核酸等大分子物质被糖化的产物,它参与了糖尿病慢性并发症、动脉粥样硬化、尿毒症、阿尔茨海默病、白内障等疾病和衰老的发生、发展。检测人体内AGEs含量对上述疾病的研究和干预具有重要意义。本文简要概述了AGEs的来源、性质、致病机制及其检测方法。
