摘要：

本文考察了税收征管对上市公司盈余管理所得税成本的影响,以及在抑制上市公司盈余管理中的作用。利用我国上市公司2003～2008年的数据,本丈研究发现:高强度的税收征管显著提高了上市公司向上盈余管理的所得税成本;同时,高强度的税收征管抑制了上市公司的盈余管理行为,且这种负相关关系主要源于税收征管抑制了企业向上的过度盈余管理,而非源于税收征管导致的企业税收筹划活动。我们的研究结论表明,税收征管作为一种有效的公司外部治理机制,可以通过增加盈余管理的所得税成本,抑制公司的向上盈余管理行为。
