组织从低端到高端的战略更新机理:基于间断平衡与双元能力理论的案例研究

摘要
在技术跃迁背景下,在任企业由于组织刚性的阻碍往往难以完成战略更新。本文整合跨职能双元能力与间断平衡理论视角,对华为手机从低端向高端转型的战略更新历程展开单案例研究,旨在揭示在任企业如何通过跨职能双元能力的演化实现技术跃迁背景下的战略更新。研究发现,在任企业分别在旧平衡期、变革期和新平衡期对产品和市场领域的探索和利用活动进行不同组合,构建不同形式的跨职能双元能力以支撑不同阶段的战略。同时,研究发现领导力在战略更新中扮演了重要角色,而不同类型的互补性资产驱动了跨职能双元能力的演化。研究结论丰富了战略更新和双元能力的相关理论,并对大企业在技术跃迁背景下的战略更新提供了实践启示。
