摘要:
The synthesis of nanoengineered polymeric thin films by sintering carbon nanotube (CNT)-coated polystyrene spheres was investigated. Stable aqueous dispersions of oxidized multi-walled nanotubes (MWNT) were used for the study. On sintering the spheres became thicker and the size of interparticle spacing decreased. The reduction in thickness of the polymeric film, compared to the spheres indicated that the polymer structure reorganizes into a more densely packed configuration.
