摘要：

A solid-state room temperature reaction for the preparation of silver/β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) composite nanowires was reported. The process was carried out in air at room temperature and the synthesis time was very short. Infrared (IR) spectrum was applied to detect the existence of organic and verified formation of composite. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) and IR analysis were used to characterise the sample.
