摘要：

This work describes the synthesis of ortho-cyanopy-ridylboronic acids and esters. Their reactivity with pyridine halides in the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction is evaluated and shows that the cyanopyridyl boronic esters appear to be more stable than their corresponding acids. These esters allowed us to synthesize new cyanobipyridine systems.
