摘要：

Using sodar measurements of the wind in the vicinity of sea-breeze fronts, we have investigated the lateral movement of the incoming front. A characteristic of the sea-breeze front is related to periodic oscillations in wind direction, which are likely to be caused by the sea breeze and accompanying updrafts and downdrafts in the ambient flow.
