摘要
Light influences plant development and may act in part by modifying responses to the hormone auxin. Physiological studies have suggested correlations between light conditions and regulation of auxin transport. Genetic and biochemical studies are beginning to indicate specific proteins that may link light perception with auxin responses. Mutations in several genes encoding transcription factors affect both light and auxin responses, as do mutations that affect protein turnover. Therefore, light and auxin may control turnover of transcription factors. Biochemical and gene expression studies are needed to reveal more precisely how auxin and light signals interact.
