GRAPHICS Alkynyl heteroaromatic compounds reacted with arylboronic acids to give addition products in the presence of [Rh(COD)Cl](2) and pyridine-substituted water-soluble ligand. The reactions proceed to give trisubstituted alkenes with high regioselectivity.
