摘要
Multiple methods may be used to determine correct femoral component rotation during TKA. Numerous reports document surgeon inability to precisely identify critical bone landmarks when deciding correct femoral component rotation using a measured resection methodology. While the author recommends using all available methods in combination, use of gap balancing provides a more accurate and reproducible way to obtain satisfactory flexion gap stability.
