摘要：

The synthesis, ionochromic effect and electrochemistry of quinoxaline containing poly(aryleneethynylene) (PAE) was discussed. Hetero-PAEs are regarded as interesting emitting and n-type semiconducting materials. The high bathochromic shift observed in the polymers was considered to be a consequence of the planarization of chains in the solid state, aggregation and interchain interactions of the charge-transfer type.
