Structure-property relations in doped perovskite oxides

摘要
A review of experimental work on A cation size effects in perovskites such as AMnO(3) CMR materials, A(2)CuO(4) and ABa(2)Cu(3)O(7-x) superconductors and ATiO(3) ferroelectrics is presented. These show that the mean A cation radius and cation size variance are both important parameters that control properties. These parameters can be used to construct global phase diagrams for perovskites. A simple model is proposed to account for the dependences of transition temperatures upon these functionals.
