Borylene insertion: Irradiation of the terminal borylene complex [(OC) 5Cr=BN-(SiMe3)2] at room temperature in the presence of 3,3-dimethyl-1-butene leads to insertion of the aminoborylene moiety into the olefinic C-H bond and formation of a vinylborane complex (see structure).
