摘要
Transfer characteristics of polymethacrlylate Langmuir films with various side chains have been investigated at different values of transfer surface pressure. Surface pressure-area (pi-A) isotherms and surface potentials of polymethacrylate with various side chains were measured and apparent dipole moments of these Langmuir films at the air-water interface were calculated by using pi-A isotherms and surface potentials measured. Transfer characteristics of polymethacrylate Langmuir films with different side chains were discussed in terms of the interactions between the films and the subphase and also the internal cohesions of polymethacrylate monolayers.
