摘要
Thirty-eight tea polyphenols were evaluated for their inhibitory effect against HIV replication in H9 lymphocyte cells. 8-C-Ascorbyl (-)-epigallocatechin (13) and theasinensin-D (32) demonstrated relatively potent anti-HIV activity with EC(50) values of 4 and 8 mu g/mL and therapeutic indexes of 9.5 and 5, respectively.
