The glassy transition of the frustrated Ising lattice gas

摘要
A three-dimensional (3D) spin-glass model diluted with lattice gas variables is investigated and compared with glass-forming liquids. The spin variables which play the role of internal degrees of freedom exhibit strong fluctuations. While a critical length associated to these fluctuations diverges at the glass transition, where the diffusion coefficient is found to vanish, the density fluctuations do not show any critical behaviour.
