摘要：

This article reviews possible mechanisms by which ocular infections with herpes simplex virus result in a blinding immuno inflammatory lesion in the cornea. We conclude that this immunoinflammatory response involves multiple immune mechanisms including autoimmunity. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
