Fabrication of Au@CaCO3 nanoparticles by in situ mineralization in hydrogel microspheres

摘要
A method to fabricate Au@CaCO3 nanoparticles using in situ mineralization with hydrogel spheres loaded with Au nanoparticles was presented. The hydrogel spheres were used both as stabilizers and as reservoirs of the nanoparticles. It was observed that nanoparticles created by the method exhibit good colloidal stability and dispersability in aqueous media. The calcium phosphate shells were also characterized on the nanoparticles of gold using a similar methodology.
