Synthesis of vanadium bronze films by electrodeposition from DMSO2 melts for electrochromic application

摘要
The vanadium bronze films were synthesized onto the ITO electrode by electrolysis in molten dimethylsulphone (DMSO2)-V2O5 and DMSO2-V2O5-LiNO3 systems at the temperature about 150 degrees C. The obtained film was analyzed by x-ray diffraction. Moreover, the electrochromic (EC) reactions of the vanadium bronze film in room temperature solution of propylene carbonate (PC) or high temperature solution of DMSO2 were investigated. The lithium vanadium bronze film was discussed on the basis for high temperature electrochromic materials.
