摘要
The mechanical properties of cellular titanium with non-stochastic structure fabricated through Selective Electron Beam Melting was investigated. The mechanical behavior depending on different unit cell sizes and process settings to provide a starting basis for optimizing the manufacturing process and predicting the mechanical properties was also investigated. Cellular titanium structures were fabricated with an electron beam melting facility and constant layer thickness of 70 μm. The mechanical properties of the fabricated cellular structures were evaluated in case of the dynamic elastic modulus by the impulse excitation technique. The determination of the dynamic elastic Modulus was conducted with an impulse excitation apparatus conforming to ASTM E 1876 standard. It was observed that a change in the quality of the structure could not be observed with different process settings.
