摘要
Clinical studies of the antihypertensive effects of n-3 fatty acids in different groups of patients are summarized, and recent information on possible mechanisms of antihypertensive effects is discussed. Because of marked differences between fatty acid metabolism and blood pressure control of humans and laboratory animals, the focus is on human studies.
