摘要
An efficient solvent-free synthesis of 1,5-benzodiazepines by condensation of o-phenylenediamines with ketones in the presence of catalytic amount of (bromodimethyl) sulfonium bromide has been accomplished. The condensation occurred at room temperature and the products were formed in high yields. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
