摘要：

Advances in emergency life support are focused on updated guidelines for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association along with continued evolution in vascular access and emergency airway management. Although dramatic changes in the approach to adult basic life support and ACLS are not anticipated, technology and new drugs on the horizon ultimately may affect the approach to emergent cardiac resuscitation. This article reviews new drugs and devices available to emergency life support providers.
