摘要：

The emphasis of this review is on the emerging applications of porous ceramics rather than the traditional structural applications of cements and refractories. Transport of fluids through porous ceramics is a common theme and so the basic concepts of flow and diffusion in porous media are briefly reviewed. The processing methods are outlined and finally the applications are presented.
