Studies on layered basic zinc acetate

摘要
Basic zinc acetate (BZA) was prepared by a titration method from zinc acetate solution. BZA had a thin film structure and was different to those of basic zinc nitride (BZN) and basic copper acetate (BCA). A thin film structure has potential for functional compounds, such as separation materials. This suggests the possibility of BZA as a photofunctional compound if dye ions were exchanged between the layers of BZA. The morphologies of ZnO powders obtained by the thermal decomposition of BZA and BZN depended on the morphologies of the starting materials.
