Measuring heteronuclear dipolar couplings for I=1/2, S>1/2 spin pairs by REDOR and REAPDOR NMR

摘要
The REDOR and REAPDOR experiments, which are viable methods for measuring internuclear distances for quadrupolar S spins provided the quadrupolar frequency is fairly small, were discussed. Nuclei such as 6Li, 7Li, 133Cs, and 2H were selected for REDOR experiments. The conditions for which the dipolar evolution of each of these two experiments is described by universal dipolar dephasing curves were also presented. The universal dipolar dephasing curves depend only on the dipolar coupling and are independent of the quadrupolar interaction and relative orientation between dipolar and quadrupolar tensors. Both REDOR and REAPDOR provide the opportunity to measure dipolar couplings accurately.
