摘要
The use of a rotating magnetic field promises the feature of a contactless flow control in crystal growth especially for configurations where an increase of the material transport in a definite way is desired, This paper gives the comparison of numerically calculated and experimentally obtained results on the flow due to a rotating magnetic field as well as numerical results on the influence of the field parameters (frequency, amplitude) on the fluid flow in the melt.
