摘要
The present article shows the sorption properties of crosslinked cyclodextrin-carboxymethylcellulose gets toward beta-naphthol. Adsorption kinetics and isotherms are presented. The influences of the quantity of cyclodextrin, crosslinking agent and pH are also studied. The results demonstrate that these gels exhibit high sorption capacities. The proposed sorption mechanism involves several kinds of interaction: hydrogen bonding, interaction due to crosslinking agent, physical adsorption and inclusion complex.
