摘要
(Chemical Equation Presented) Two layers are better than one: The organic bilayer composed of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic acid bisbenzimidazole (PTCBI, an n-type semiconductor) and cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc, a p-type semiconductor) was found to act as a novel photoanode that is responsive to visible light under 750 nm to induce efficiently the photoelectrochemical splitting of water to evolve dioxygen. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
