摘要
Silica core-shell structures with different mesoporous arrangements in core and shell have been synthesized. Shell mesopores are found to be radially oriented thus providing accessibility to the inner structure. A new characterization technique, "cross-section polishing", reveals the presence of a discontinuous interface communicating both outer and inner networks.
