摘要
(Chemical Equation Presented) Divide and conquer: Metal-free systems consisting of amines and B(C6F5)3 cleave H 2 heterolytically at ambient pressure and often at room temperature. The efficient reduction of benzaldehyde by the product shown in the scheme highlights the potential of such systems for application in hydrogenation reactions. © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
