摘要：

To better understand the mechanism of normal heart rate turbulence (HRT), we measured induced HRT and intracardiac conduction intervals before and after atropine in 12 patients during an electrophysiologic study. We showed that vagal blockade with atropine abolishes normal HRT and that normal HRT is produced predominantly by changes in the sinoatrial rate and not in atrioventricular conduction.
