Homogeneously labeled protein samples are generated by expressed protein ligation for studying protein interactions. Miniscule amounts of samples are used in single-molecule-sensitive measurements and fluorescence resonance energy transfer experiments. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
