摘要
The applications and development of software agents require the improvements of agents' social capacities that will enable them to adapt in multi-agent domain. The recent scientific events in the area of software agents, which are situated in complex social environments, showed a general tendency towards application of systems with social intelligence. Artificial intelligence deals with the study and implementations of agent systems endowed with the capacity to reason upon and modify their own and others' mental states in order to interact with them. Artificial social intelligence on the other hand is meant as a more general capacity than communication and interaction, and refers to the capacities which are needed for interacting and communicating.
