摘要
The electrochemical production of hydrogen peroxide by the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is becoming a viable alternative as generation takes place in situ, eliminating any problems of transport and storage. In this paper, we have studied the basis of manganese II phthalocyanine (Ph-Mn) catalysts supported in Printex 6L carbon, in order to increase the generation efficiency of H2O2. The results showed that with the catalyst containing 1.0% of Ph-Mn there was an increase in H2O2 production efficiency of 82% in comparison to 80% obtained for unmodified Printex 6L. However, it was observed that the greater the amount of Ph-Mn incorporated into the catalyst, the lower the tendency for the reaction formation of H2O2.
