摘要
Brillouin/erbium fiber lasers (BEFL's) have been recently demonstrated as a novel mode of operation of a fiber laser, BEFL's are capable of generating optical combs with line spacings similar to 10 GHz, In this paper, we present a detailed discussion of the operation of BEFL's, Single and multiple wavelength generation is discussed, and modeling of single wavelength operation is described.
