Optically pure 2,6-disubstituted morpholines 11 have been obtained by diastereoselective alkylation of 6-substituted 3-oxo morpholines 1 derived from (R)-(-)-phenylglycinol and a series of chiral epoxides. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
