摘要
The effect of the polymer composition, preparation method and nature of the substrate on the surface potential (SP) of conducting polymer films has been investigated. Both the average value and the distribution of SP across the polymer surface are influenced by these factors. Polythiophene (PTh) polymers, potentially useful for solar energy conversion were used to examine the generation of light-induced changes in SP Results suggest the possibility of determining the local variations of the surface photovoltage (SPV) and the photovoltaic properties of polymer films intended for use in photovoltaic devices.
