摘要
The authors reviewed results of digital substraction vena cavography with a gadolinium-based contrast agent in 14 patients with serum creatinine levels greater than or equal to 1.5 mg/dL (133 mu mol/L). All cavograms were diagnostic. In 11 patients, there was no impairment of renal function. In three patients, a rise in serum creatine level of greater than or equal to 0.5 mg/dL (44 mu mol/L) was attributable to concurrent medical problems. Gadolinium-based contrast agents may be suitable for digital subtraction vena cavography in patients with renal insufficiency.
