摘要
(Figure Presented) The many faces of gold: Trisoctahedral gold nanocrystals have been synthesized in a high yield for the first time. Electron diffraction and electron microscopy demonstrate that the nanocrystals are enclosed by 24 high-index facets, such as {221} planes (see SEM image (left) and model (right)). © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
