Interpenetrating copper-silver cyanometallate networks: Polymorphs and topological isomers

(Figure Presented) Caught in the net: A series of mixed copper(I)-silver(I) cyanide complexes of the form A[Ag2Cu(CN)4] (A = K, Rb, Cs) have been found to form interpenetrating layer structures and three-dimensional networks (see picture). Two different forms of the Rb and Cs compounds are observed, which are both topological isomers and polymorphs. © 2005 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
