[GRAPHICS] Cyclobutanones react with arylboronic acids in the presence of a catalytic amount of Rh(l) complex to afford butyrophenone derivatives through the addition of an arylrhodium(l) species to the carbonyl group, followed by ring-opening of the resulting rhodium(l) cyclobutanolate.
