摘要：

Aromatic thioethers substituted on the phenyl ring with strongly electron-withdrawing groups can be mono- and difluorinated by electro-oxidation in acetonitrile. The working electrode was a platinum sheet and the electrolyte was triethylaminetrihydro fluoride (Et(3)N . 3HF). Limitations of the method and the experimental conditions are discussed.
