摘要：

Platelets are rich in growth factors and cytokines that are responsible for the induction of wound healing mechanisms and tissue regeneration. Therefore, the potential osteogenic effect of local platelet administration is used to improve future implant sites in oral surgery. This paper gives an overview on the current application of topical platelets and presents a procedure for preparation of autologous concentrated platelet-rich plasma for clinical application in bone regenerations according to national regulations and guidelines. The method has proven to be suitable for blood services to support the needs for treatments with autologous growth factors in oral surgery.
