Nitrogen monoxide sensing with nitrosonium ion conducting solid electrolytes

摘要
A nitrosonium ion (NO+) conducting solid electrolyte was prepared by ionically exchanging Na+-Ga11O17 in the molten NOCl . AlCl3. The compact NO gas sensor was fabricated using the NO+ conducting solid electrolyte with a NaNO2 reference electrode. The sensor response was rapid enough and a Nernstian NO detection was observed.
